Fruity Friday

On Friday 2nd June we held ‘Fruity Friday’. This was Action 1 in Year 2 of our HPS flag. Parents Irene, Ann and Breege brought in 8 types of fruit and the committee helped them prepare it. Everyone washed their hands and made their own fruit kebabs to enjoys. Thanks to all who helped out!

World Handwashing Day

On Tuesday 30th May the Health Promoting Schools celebrated ‘World Handwashing Day’. This was Action 2 in Year 2 of our HPS flag. Our HPS committee reminded everyone when to wash their hands and why handwashing is important. To mark the occasion, we made a collage of handprints using paint.

On Friday February 17th we had a visit from the HSE HPS coordinator, Carmel Halpin. She is delighted that we are continuing to carry on the activities that helped us achieve our HPS flag. Thank you for the support Carmel!
