Our 5th and 6th class students were putting their debating skills to the test recently. Having spent a number of weeks practicing persuasive writing and debating techniques, there were two excellent debates held. The topic was “Should children wear uniforms in school”. All teams conducted themselves in an excellent manner and we wouldn’t be surprised to see one or two familiar faces in the Dáil in the not too distant future!!
