Science and Geography in April was based on The Solar System. We learned all about the planets in our Solar System, what they look like up close, how long it takes them to orbit our sun and what distance they are from each other. There were many interesting videos about the sun, comets, asteroids and The Universe and the thought of there being more stars in The Universe than grains of sand on all the beaches on Earth blew our minds. We spent 3 weeks creating projects on The Solar System at home and what we created was out of this world!
