Our History in May was spent learning about the Ancient Egyptians. From Pharaohs and Pyramids to hieroglyphics and mummification, this was a fascinating topic for all. We carried out an experiment to see if we could mummify a quarter of an apple and compared our attempts to another quarter control apple. After a week, we checked our apples and the results were both interesting and disgusting but it was amazing to see the effects of the mummification process on the apples. We presented our Egyptian projects on Friday and yet again we created some very impressive pieces of work.
