As part of our Green Schools (Biodiversity) flag 5th and 6th Class selected an Irish animal of their choice to research. The children focused on their animal’s appearance, habitat, diet and  distribution around Ireland. Using both PowerPoint and Canva to create their projects, the children presented their projects to the class.  Awareness is a major part of the Biodiversity Flag and this was a great step towards becoming aware of the wonderful creatures that live among us on our beautiful island.
