Fáilte go Scoil Naomh Fiach!

As Principal of St. Fiach’s N.S., I am thrilled to welcome you to our vibrant and close-knit school community. Nestled in Ballinacree, our school is a place where children flourish academically, socially, and spiritually. At St. Fiach’s, we celebrate the individuality of each student, helping them develop into confident and compassionate individuals, fully aware of their unique talents and role in the world.

We are especially proud of our rich tradition of academic excellence, participation in sports and the arts, and our commitment to environmental sustainability through initiatives like the Green Flag program. Our dedicated staff fosters a spirit of curiosity and creativity, guiding students through a range of enriching activities, from Seachtain na Gaeilge Week to Active Week celebrations, where fun and learning go hand in hand.

Our Catholic ethos inspires us to create a nurturing environment where children can deepen their faith, develop lasting friendships, and cultivate a positive attitude towards life. Tá sé mar aidhm againn cabhrú le gach páiste a bheith sásta agus muiníneach, agus muid ag forbairt ár gcreideamh mar phobal láidir agus tacúil.

Go raibh míle maith agat as do spéis, agus tá súil againn go mbainfidh tú taitneamh as d’eolas a fháil faoi Scoil Naomh Fiach.

Thanks also to members of the Board of Management for refreshments and to the Parents’ Association for the memorable cupcakes – really thoughtful and much appreciated.

We wish Aoife, Órla, Lisa, Shannon, Dillon, Anthony, Damien and Oisín all the best for the future and thank you for the memories! Go n-éirí an t-ádh libh!

Lá spóirt 2013

We had our school sports day recently and we could not have picked a more beautiful day. Special thanks to all the staff, students and parents for making this a memorable day. The day started out with individual and relay races for all classes. We then had stations laid out for each class covering all the usual fun sports day activities. Sack races, potato and spoon races and  ‘fill the bucket’ were some of the many activities on show! Enjoy the photo highlights!

Senior School Tour

Our 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes went on their school tour to Tayto Park on Wednesday May 29th. Thankfully the weather was fantastic and everyone had a super day, including the teachers!! Here are some pictures of the day!

Our school is proud to announce that we have received our first Green Flag and it is blowing proudly in the breeze!  A lot of hard work went into this over the past year and huge praise must go to Ms. Smith and her Green Flag team of Aoife, Jack, Gary, Seán, Leo, Bobby, Rory and Kirsten. Well done to the whole school for participating in the project. This is the first of many!!
