Our 1st and 2nd classes visited Mullaghmeen Forest on Monday June 20th. We got to see some wonderful trees in Mullaghmeen arboretum: whitebeam, hornbeam, wild cherry and bird cherry, whitethorn and blackthorn, crab apple and spindle, alder and elder, beautiful names with poetry running through them.

Special thanks to Mr. Smith for the guided tour around the forest. Thanks also to the super parents who provided lifts there and back.
