We had a chance to get a taste of what life was like going to school
during the Penal times. As Catholic schools were forbidden, Hedge
Schools sprang up around the country. The weather was nice today so we
had the pleasure of learning in the shade of a hedge. We’re still
unsure as to what price is upon Mr. McHugh’s head!
