Fáilte go Scoil Naomh Fiach!

As Principal of St. Fiach’s N.S., I am thrilled to welcome you to our vibrant and close-knit school community. Nestled in Ballinacree, our school is a place where children flourish academically, socially, and spiritually. At St. Fiach’s, we celebrate the individuality of each student, helping them develop into confident and compassionate individuals, fully aware of their unique talents and role in the world.

We are especially proud of our rich tradition of academic excellence, participation in sports and the arts, and our commitment to environmental sustainability through initiatives like the Green Flag program. Our dedicated staff fosters a spirit of curiosity and creativity, guiding students through a range of enriching activities, from Seachtain na Gaeilge Week to Active Week celebrations, where fun and learning go hand in hand.

Our Catholic ethos inspires us to create a nurturing environment where children can deepen their faith, develop lasting friendships, and cultivate a positive attitude towards life. Tá sé mar aidhm againn cabhrú le gach páiste a bheith sásta agus muiníneach, agus muid ag forbairt ár gcreideamh mar phobal láidir agus tacúil.

Go raibh míle maith agat as do spéis, agus tá súil againn go mbainfidh tú taitneamh as d’eolas a fháil faoi Scoil Naomh Fiach.

Sacraments 2024

Congratulations to our 6th and 2nd class students who received the sacraments of Confirmation and Reconciliation. Thanks to their teachers, Ms. Reynolds and Ms. Smith, for preparing the children so well.

Assembly – March 2024

We had a lovely assembly on Thursday to mark the end of another great term. We were very busy with Green Schools activities, Peace Proms, Sacraments, Mini-7 football and World Book Day. Thanks to all our students who participate so well throughout all our activities. Comhghairdeas lena Gaeilgeoirí na Míosa and well done to everyone who received awards/trophies/medals for their achievements outside of school.

Enjoy the Easter break!

Lá Glas 2024

We had a wonderful day on Friday (15th March) to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Rang 3 & 4 played Roddy McCorley and Raitlin Bog on the tin-whistle, fiddle and guitar. Rang 5 & 6 played Star of Co. Down and Britches Full of Stitches.

The junior classes danced An Staicín Eorna and the senior classes dance na Ballaí Luimnigh. There also some fabulous group and individual performances of reels, jigs and freestyle dances.

Maith sibh gach duine agus Lá Fhéile Phádraig shona daoibh!

Peace Proms 2024

Our 5th and 6th class students attended the Peace Proms in February. They were held in the RDS with thousands of other students from across our island. Well done all!
