Fáilte go Scoil Naomh Fiach!

As Principal of St. Fiach’s N.S., I am thrilled to welcome you to our vibrant and close-knit school community. Nestled in Ballinacree, our school is a place where children flourish academically, socially, and spiritually. At St. Fiach’s, we celebrate the individuality of each student, helping them develop into confident and compassionate individuals, fully aware of their unique talents and role in the world.

We are especially proud of our rich tradition of academic excellence, participation in sports and the arts, and our commitment to environmental sustainability through initiatives like the Green Flag program. Our dedicated staff fosters a spirit of curiosity and creativity, guiding students through a range of enriching activities, from Seachtain na Gaeilge Week to Active Week celebrations, where fun and learning go hand in hand.

Our Catholic ethos inspires us to create a nurturing environment where children can deepen their faith, develop lasting friendships, and cultivate a positive attitude towards life. Tá sé mar aidhm againn cabhrú le gach páiste a bheith sásta agus muiníneach, agus muid ag forbairt ár gcreideamh mar phobal láidir agus tacúil.

Go raibh míle maith agat as do spéis, agus tá súil againn go mbainfidh tú taitneamh as d’eolas a fháil faoi Scoil Naomh Fiach.

Halloween Assembly 2023

Well done to everyone for dressing up for the Halloween festivities. There were some wonderfully spooky costumes on display!

Comhghairdeas le na Gaeilgeoirí na Míosa.

Well done to all who received awards, medals and trophies for extra-curricular activities. Thanks to Mrs. Glynn for making her fantastic pumpkin soup! Yum Yum!

Happy Halloween!!

5th and 6th Class Activities (Sept and Oct 2023)

We’ve had a great start to the year in 5th and 6th Class. We’ve had lots of different activities but our main focus has been looking at the history in our local area. Big thank you to Séamus Smyth, Richard Kilroy and the parents who joined us on our History fieldtrip. We had a fantastic day out and learned all about Killeagh and the motte of Ballinacree.

Cumann na mBunscol 2023

Well to to all our girls and boys who competed so well in the Cumann na mBunscol competitions this year. We are so proud of you all!

Our boys played Heronstown, Newtown, Castletown and Kilskyre. Our girls played Ballinlough, Moylagh, Kilskyre and Drumbaragh in the group stages but unfortunately got beaten by a very strong Rathfeigh team in the 1/4 final.

Thanks to our wonderful parents who provided so many lifts to the games. We really appreciate your continued support!
