We were delighted to welcome Seán and Patrick, from Gibney Steel Products, to St. Fiach’s during Engineer’s Week 2017. The lads gave a great presentation of their day to day activities and showed us how a product goes from idea to execution. They also had a display of products for us to see. Our farmers were very excited! A big thank you to Seán and Patrick for giving up their time to lend us their expertise!
March 2nd 2017 – World Book Day
We had some wonderful costumes on show to celebrate World Book Day! Characters from some of the world’s most famous authors were well represented. Well done to all the children and teachers for getting in on the act and making such a great effort! Maith sibh!
February 28th was Pancake Tuesday and we always love to celebrate the occasion at St. Fiach’s! A special thanks to all the teachers for making the pancakes for everyone. There were plenty of toppings on offer…….a last chance to enjoy some sweet things before Lent!!
Gymnastics is an integral part of the PE curriculum and it was great having Craig back for 4 weeks to teach our students so that they could build on what they have learned previously. It’s important that children build a strong core to progress in all physical activities and sports. Gymnastics is a super way for this to happen. Well done to everyone for trying so hard and thanks again to Craig for his expertise!
